Most couples book 3–6 months out, and that lead time gives us the best options for date availability, location scouting, and any permits your chosen spot requires. Fall dates in the Smokies are the exception — those can book a year or more in advance, so if autumn is your vision, don't wait.
That said, if your date is coming up fast, reach out anyway. Last-minute elopements are some of our favorites, and we'll do everything we can to make it happen.
You'll need to visit a County Clerk's office in Tennessee before your ceremony — no waiting period, no blood test, and the license is valid statewide. Most couples stop at the Sevier County Clerk's office in Sevierville on their way in, since it's right in the corridor and easy to work into your arrival day. The license is good for 30 days, so you have flexibility on timing. We'll walk you through exactly what to bring and what to expect when we build out your planning timeline.
It depends on the location. Great Smoky Mountains National Park requires a permit for wedding and elopement ceremonies, but the process is straightforward and we'll walk you through every step — which permit to apply for, which location to select, and exactly how to submit your request. You apply directly so your personal information stays in your hands where it belongs. Some locations outside the park don't require a permit at all. Either way, we'll make sure you know exactly what's needed before your day.

What you receive depends on your package. Our higher-tier packages include a professionally edited highlight film — a cinematic, music-driven video that tells the story of your day from start to finish. Base packages include curated raw footage: the best clips from your day, selected and delivered without editing.
